Solaraze Gel is a topical medication used for the treatment of actinic keratosis. The active ingredient in Solaraze Gel is diclofenac sodium, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is specifically designed for use on the skin and is applied directly to the affected areas twice a day for a treatment period that can last from 60 to 90 days. Solaraze will often cause a milder reaction than other treatments for actinic keratosis, however in my experience it will often prove ineffective or the lesions will recur.
If you decide to proceed with this treatment is is important that you carefully read the following patient information leaflet.
